We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated summer intern to join the team at our bridal boutique. Our boutique specializes in providing traditional and modern bridal attire for South Asian weddings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in learning more about the fashion industry and South Asian culture.


  • Assist the boutique staff in day-to-day operations, including customer service, inventory management, and visual merchandising
  • Provide support during bridal consultations, fittings, and alterations
  • Learn about South Asian bridal fashion trends and the traditional attire worn during wedding ceremonies
  • Participate in photo shoots and assist with social media content creation
  • Help with event planning and coordination, such as trunk shows and bridal expos
  • Complete assigned projects related to the boutique's marketing and sales strategies


  • Currently enrolled in a high school or college, preferably in fashion merchandising, marketing, or a related field
  • Passionate about South Asian culture and bridal fashion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms

This is an unpaid internship, but the successful candidate will gain valuable experience in the fashion industry and the opportunity to work with a team of passionate and talented individuals, and a letter of recommendation on completion.

Bridal Sales & Customer Service Consultant (Full-time, Houston, TX)

Panache by Sharmeen, is a high-end fashion house focusing on dressing the modern South Asian American bride for their big event. We are currently looking for a full-time Bridal Sales Consultant for our Houston, TX boutique. Bridal Sales Consultants are responsible for working one-on-one with brides and their families to help them find outfits for various ceremonies. They are expected to measure brides and use their knowledge of fashion trends to help select dresses that will best flatter a bride’s body shape and size. They will also assist the CEO in day-to-day operations of the boutique.


  • Virtual and in-person one-on-one customer support
  • Communication with customers including answering emails, customer service inquiries, and orders.
  • Complete ownership of Order Management from placement-to-delivery
  • Establishing guidelines and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Act as a brand ambassador and cultivate strong client relationships with extreme focus on customer service
  • Build our sales team through hiring and training
  • Maintaining sales floor appearance
  • Assist with photoshoots and social media posts.
  • Typical office work such as filing, working with spreadsheets, and checking-in new items


  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift-up to fifteen (15) lbs
  • 1-2 years of Retail Sales Experience. Social media experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the fashion industry products, services, and trends, preferably South Asian
  • Flexible availability for responsive communication throughout the week, evenings, and weekends, within reason
  • Strong communication skills in English, and preferably Hindi/Urdu
